He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Shroyer and Wanda Shroyer (Fagan); and his son Howard Dwayne Rhoads. He is survived by: his wife Janet Shroyer (Creech); his children, Charles Emerson Shroyer of Maplewood, Colt Tyler Shroyer of Maplewood and Misty Kemmeter (Kenneth) of Maplewood; his grandchildren, Megan Marvin, Madison Wagner, Halie Shroyer, Mackenzie Shroyer, Allison Shroyer, Hunter Shroyer, Alayna Kemmeter and Evan Kemmeter; and his sisters, Ruby Argabright of Piqua, Marilyn Argabright of Houston, Linda Waltz of Sidney, Debby Sherman of Maplewood, Jeanne Scott of Covington and Shirley Spalding of Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
