It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Davis of Marietta, Ohio, born in Toccopola, Mississippi, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, L. T. Davis and Lila Modean Bland Davis; his wife Jeanette Helen Bauerbach Davis; his children, Dennis Davis (Tammi), Stephanie Hurst (Erik), Renea Ball (Jason White) and Angie Lang (Tracy); his grandchildren, Andrew, Maggie, Samuel Hurst, Gabrielle, Dalton Ball, Nikki, Devon, Lucas and Cade Lang; his great grandchild Coleston Ball; his stepgrandchildren, Reece Pottmeyer, Alexis and Alyssa White; and his brothers, Delane Davis (Lynda) and Bobby Davis (Dara). He was also cherished by several brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
