It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melanie Brandt of Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon P. Spies and Betty J. Spies; and her brother Paul Spies. She is survived by : her husband Charles Brandt (Charlie); her children, Charmel Wesel (Ron) of Marietta, OH, Christopher Brandt (Jessica) of Columbia, MO and Chad Brandt (Jodie) of Marietta, OH; her grandchildren, Stephanie Chatham (Ben) of Mooresville, NC, Jennifer Genest (Ryan) of Charlotte, NC, Emily Shotwell (Christopher) of Lusby, MD, Eli Brandt (Jenna) of Columbia, MO, Jude, Helaina Brandt of Belpre, OH and Dallas Brandt of Wilmington, NC; and her sister Kathie Lee (David). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
