Danny Dale Fannin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Dale Fannin of Marysville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Fannin and Exie B Hart Fannin; his siblings, Mike Fannin, Barb Hollingshead, Linda Patterson and Peggy Patterson; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Pennington, Karen Gehring Fisher, Jim Pearson, Mike Gehring and David Gehring.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine D. "Kathy" Gehring Fannin; his sons, Jeremy Payne (Crystal) of Marysville, Brian Payne (Malydia) of Ottawa, Danny Fannin (Lacey) of Plain City and Eric Fannin Marysville (Kaitlyn); his grandchildren, Taylor, Grant, Alexia, Zoe, Zavier, Sylvia, Alice, Vivian, Iris, Bryant, Rylan, Parker, Hudson, Jade, Emerson, Ridley and Ronan; his great grandchildren, Hayes, Declan, Emery, Ellie and Wrenley; his siblings, Bill Fannin (Cheryl), Kenny Fannin, Judy Pearson, Chris Fannin and Terry Peck (Jeff); and his siblings-in-law, Vickie Hammond (Lowell), Caroline Sue Gehring, Karoline Gehring and Paul Fisher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Underwood Funeral Home (703 E 5th St, Marysville, OH 43040). The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Jay M. Groat Will Officiate Funeral Services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dan's memory to the Pat Conlon Scholarship Fund or the Paul and Betty Devine Scholarship Fund, both in care of the Union County Foundation.
