He was predeceased by: his father Homer R. Caldwell, Sr.; his grandparents, Carroll, Pearle Collinson, Dock and Dovie Caldwell; his aunt Jo Ann Collinson; his uncle Larry Collinson; his great-niece Ashley Diane McDaniel; and his great-nephew Jayden Christopher Burns.
He is survived by: his mother Virginia "Ginny" Collinson Caldwell Sparks; his stepparents, Richard "Dick" Sparks and Susan Caldwell of Florida; his sisters, Victoria Burns (John) of Canal Winchester and Judy Caldwell (Scott Jones) of Marysville; his stepsister Jacqueline "Jackie" Sabins (Doug); his siblings' children, Scott Burns (Jennifer), Ryan Burns, Jason Burns, Allen McDaniel, Jr., Cody Sabins, Cory Sabins, Courtney Burns (Kellen), Alexa Neill (Joe) and Mary Sabins; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace, Trent, Kylie, Kaleb, Emery, Allister, Eliora, Anneliese, Ana, Raelynn and Laiken; and his aunts and uncles, Kay Whitt (George), Mary Ann Caldwell, Peggy Bailey (Doug), Vickie Sparks, Bobby Caldwell (Theresa) and John Sparks (Betty). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Underwood Funeral Home (703 E 5th St, Marysville, OH 43040). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Homer's memory to Raymond Methodist Church.
