He was predeceased by: his parents, James Combs and Altie Wells Combs; his son Iaccas John Combs; and his siblings, Alfred Combs, Ruby Slone and Lilly Mae Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Huffines; his children, Charles Combs (Kelly) of Marion, Mary E. Pheasant of Marion and Ruby Ann Combs of Columbus; and his siblings, Sterling Combs (Lou) of Warrensburg, Bert Combs (Tracy) of Marysville, Edna Slone of Pharisburg, Martha Smith of Pharisburg and Kathleen Overfield of Marysville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
