It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca M. Sorg of Marysville, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles E. Lynn and Mary Lynn (Speed) of Virginia; her husband Dick Sorg; her siblings-in-law, Terry Cooperider of Newark, Frank Rubeck of Newark, Shirley Cooperider of Newark and Patty Rubeck of Newark; and her nephew Jason Lynn of Dresden.
She is survived by : her son Jonathan Sorg (Laura) of Marysville; her grandsons, Andrew Earl Sorg and Jacob Nicholas Sorg; her siblings, Debbie Awalt (Steve) of Zanesville, Cindy Heil (Ed) of Adamsville, Theresa Brown (Dave) of Fredericktown, Bill Lynn of Nashport, Dave Lynn (Linda) of Zanesville and Rick Lynn (Wanda) of Sunbury; and her sisters-in-law, Delores Gibson (Jerry) of Rushville, Sandy Backus (Dan) of Zanesville, Becky Smith (Rod) of Zanesville and Michelle Rock (Todd) of Zanesville.
