He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Starr and Freida Delores Starr; and his siblings, Hilda Harris, Herschel Starr and Harriett Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Elizabeth Starr; his children, Gary Starr, Mark Starr (Cynthia) and Elizabeth Koob (Chris); his grandchildren, Jessica, Garret, Lynise, Winston, Mason, Marisa, Audrey and Tara; and his great grandchild Scarlet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Byron's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
