He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethelbert DeVore and Mary Willie DeVore; his wife Mary Elizabeth Devore; his siblings, Kenneth, Charles DeVore, Dorothy Faulk and Dolores Amyx Layne; and his nephews, Gary Amyx and Troy Faulk.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Hanson (Steven), Daniel DeVore, Cynthia DeVore and Jamie Schwartz (Brian); his grandchildren, Eric Hanson, Erin Colaco (Ben), Steven Scott Hanson (Sarah), Rhiannon Kreutz (William, III), Evan Schwartz (Taylor) and Seth Schwartz; his great grandchildren, Kendall Hanson, Kelsey Hanson, William Kreutz IV and Berkeley Schwartz; and his brother Franklin DeVore. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
