With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita A. Sommers of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on September 1, 2021 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anita A. Sommers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Andy; her brothers, Stewart and Hale Freeman; and her mother Myra Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Kedigh, Jerry Burris (Kendra), Jeff Sommers (Kris), Jay Sommers (Becky) and Jack Sommers (Marissa); and her siblings, Alma Farnsworth, Glenna Kanatzar (Rick) and Lonnie Freeman (Lana). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society.
