She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cindric and Anna Cindric; and her siblings, Julia Romich, Melva Galovic, Mike, George, Nick and Peter Vezmar.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Turkal; her children, Tim Turkal and Martha Shaffer (Howard); and her grandchildren, Abigail Waldrop (Jarod), Nathan Shaffer (Brittany) and Annie Nagel (Evan). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
