He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Sweet and Eleanor Sweet; and his siblings, David Sweet, Elizabeth "Libby" Morden and Ernestine Sweet.
He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Rittichier; his children, Marti Sweet and Douglas Jambard-Sweet; and his daughter-in-law Carole Jambard-Sweet. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
