He is survived by: his wife Lora McCarty (Spaeth); his children, Nance Heckman (Larry) of Powell, OH and Gregory John McCarty, Jr. of Altus, OK.; his granddaughters, Sophia Marie and Vivian Jane Heckman; and his sisters-in-law, Charla Dahlstrom (Cal), Diane and Maureen McCarty.
