He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorisann Herrick and Larry H. Mersing. He is survived by: his brothers, Jimmy (Judy) and Michael A. Mersing; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Mersing and Bob Herrick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
