He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Phillips and Rita Phillips (Smith); and his former wife Debra Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Ryan (Jennifer) and Autumn (Tony Lutz); his granddaughter Abby Phillips; and his siblings, Teri Heppe (Greg), John Phillips (Pam), Rick Phillips (Karol) and Danny Phillips.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion.
