It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard T Mielcarek (Maumee, Ohio), who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Mielcarek and Helen Mielcarek (Zientek). He is survived by: his wife Diane (Budzyn); his sons, Jeff, Mike (Michaela) and Rick (Cindy); his grandchildren, Josh (Erica), Mitch (Rachel), Nick (Jessica), Blake, Travis (Maria), Madeline and Veronica Bockbrader (Luke); his sister Ginnie Mohler; and his daughter-in-law Sally. He is also survived by nieces & nephews, as well as many close friends, which he considered extended family.

In lieu of flowers please consider tributes to St. Hyacinth Parish, Msgr. Jerome E. Schmit Youth Foundation, Central Catholic H.S. Baseball, St. Francis de Sales H.S. Endowment Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice.
