He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Toothacker Arkles (Jack) of California and Carol Toothacker Reese (Michael) of Michigan; his grandchildren, William Arkles, Ashley Bride (Arkles), Melissa Buckholtz (Reese) and Melanie Peterson (Reese); his wife Betty; and his sisters, Alita Green and Joan Green.
