He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Guadalupe; his children, Ron Oskowski (Myra), Hilda Storer (Frank), Jaime (Michelle), Alvaro Jr. (Lori), Irma Philp (John), Alex (Aline) and Leti Schooler (Mark); his grandchildren, William, Nick (Katie), Sara, Matthew, Christopher (Melody), Justin, Ashley (Tom), Halle, John (Meg), Jamie, Jordan, Jennifer, Alex (Annie), Dakota (Lea), Lily and Madison; his great grandchildren, Giorgia, Sam, Dominic, Madelyn, Avery, Mason, Milah, Danny, Kayden, Cora and Zoey; and his siblings, Ofelia Vela (late John), Margarita Serna (late Antonio), Maria Meche Trevino (late Jesus) and Antonio Cortes (Maria). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
