He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora M. Martin Ward Sr. and Jean Y. Sowers Ward; his son Douglas Dean Ward; and his great grandchild Brynn. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughter Valerie Dixon (Mike) of McArthur; his grandchildren, Michael Dixon (Allison) of McArthur and Wendy Peoples (Thomas) of Hamden; his great grandchildren, Hanna and Ian; and his sisters, Laura Ankrom (Willis) of Allensville and Margaret Frederick (Wes) of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. Please observe all COVID-19 guidelines by wearing a mask and social distancing while in attendance.
