She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion Perry and Margaret Pratt Perry; her husband John Ward; her son Christopher Ward; her grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Ward; and her sisters, Sandra Mason, Carolyn Powell and Edith Henderson.
She is survived by : her sons, John Ward (Linda) of McArthur and Melvin Ward (Angela) of McArthur; her grandchildren, Tessa Ward, Nikki Sowers (John), Joseph Snyder (Zach), Kelli Ward, Adam Ward (Amy), Jessie Ward (Cody) and Corie Ward; her stepgranddaughters, Mary, Stephanie and Rita; her sister Edna Floyd; and her close friend Dixie Greene. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren.
