He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Willard and Nina D. Dean (Walters); and his sister Patricia Ritter. He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Dean Robertson; his wife Louise E. Compton; his children, Somer Harnett (Mel) of Colorado Springs, Breana Estep (Steven Stein) of Defiance and Shawn Hudson (Melinda) of Simi Valley, California; his grandchildren, Gavin, Peyton, Toby, Sydney and Olivia; his siblings, Jerry Dean (Jeanie) of Bradner, Ronald Dean of Risingsun, Roger Dean of Fostoria, Michael Dean of Anderson, Linda Bowman (Fred) of Fostoria, Randy Dean of Risingsun, Robert Dean (Rose) of Fostoria, Thomas Dean (Cathy) of Wayne, Timothy Dean (Tammy) of Risingsun and Suzanne Thomason of Fostoria; his brother-in-law Raymond Ritter of Fremont; and his brother Brick Laying Masonry Businesses.
