He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rowland and Mildred Rowland (Anthony); his wife Sarah Rowland (Fisher); his daughter-in-law Berlinda Rowland; his sister June Heckler; and his brother-in-law Walter Behnfeldt.
He is survived by: his children, James Rowland of McClure, John Rowland (Tresa) of Hamilton, IN, Dennis Rowland of Napoleon, Nancy Rowland of McClure and Tony Rowland (Roberta) of McClure; his grandchildren, Jeffery Rowland (Dawn), Cassandra Bishop (Todd), Carla Powell (John), Joshua Rowland, Tyler Rowland (Sara), Matthew Rowland (Nicole), Diana Swinghammer (Will), Sonia Schlegel (Mark), Tiffanie Creager (Steve), Angela Green, Jacob Rowland and Jared Rowland; his sister Ruth Behnfeldt; and his brother-in-law Bill Heckler. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
