She was predeceased by : her parent Preston Briggs; and her siblings, John Briggs, Sam Briggs, Preston Briggs, Bill Briggs and Ester Moore.
She is survived by : her parent Minnie O'Bryant Briggs; her spouse Paul Compton; her children, Kimberly Carpenter (Kenneth) of Lucasville, Charles Bowling (Judy) of West Portsmouth and Renee Hall (John) of Hilliard; her great grandchild Ruth; her grandson Ryan; and also, Ruth, Together and Erin Trapp (Mark) of Rosemount.
