Leon E. Evans Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 73, Leon E. Evans Jr. (Youngstown, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon E. Evans Sr. and Margaret Mary Sullivan Evans. He is survived by: his sons, Leon Evans III (Jenna M.) of McDonald and Jamie Evans of McDonald; his granddaughters, Aubrey and Elyse; his brother John Gary Evans (Vickie) of Grove City, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Peggy Byrne (Pat) of Girard and Willie McFalls of Bristolville; his close friend Linda Tote of McDonald; and his wife Florence "Pinky" McFalls Evans. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinnick Funeral Home (222 S State St, Girard, OH 44420). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (618 Ohio Ave, McDonald, OH 44437).
In lieu of flowers, Lee's family suggests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church or the Florence A. Evans and Leon E. Evans Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.
