She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Tomlinson and Dorothy Tomlinson (Yearin); her husband Ira "Dee" Purgit; her brother Bill Tomlinson; and her brother-in-law Bob May.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Hixon (Ross) and Michele Harsh; her grandchildren, Ross Hixon, Amy Hixon, Annie Buffenbarger (Blaine), Josh Harsh (Tessa), Jonathan Harsh (Hannah Agee) and Joey Harsh (Caroline Nott); her great grandchildren, Gage Hixon, Lainey Hixon, Austin Mattox, Conner Hixon, Beric Buffenbarger, Saige Buffenbarger, Malcolm Buffenbarger, Hadlee Harsh, Haislee Harsh, Huxlee Harsh and Charli Harsh; and her siblings, Joyce Kiser (Steve), Jenny Linton (Pete), Connie May, Don McElfresh (Jackie) and Michael McElfresh (Sandy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Skillman, McDonald & Vernon Funeral Home (257 W Main St, Mechanicsburg, OH 43044). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
