He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Fichter and Carolyn Fichter; his daughters, Yvonne Fichter, Linda Bahas (Gregory), Kathleen Murray (David) and Laura Montini (Michael); his wife Shirley; his daughter Carolyn Hege (Joseph); and his grandson Brendan Hall. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
