With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Virginia Spencer Gibson of Medina, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Spencer and Mabel Spencer (Greenough); her husband Gene; her brothers, Jack, Robert and Donald Spencer; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kreiger Spencer, June Vandevier Spencer and Dolores Mellert Spencer; and her siblings' children, Sandra Spencer Maupin, Cheryl Spencer Deyling and David William Deyling.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Sheila Gibson; her nephews, Jack Spencer, Jr. and Donald Spencer, Jr.; and her great-niece Kimberly Winkler (Kevin). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
