Evelyn Lake-Rost Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Lake-Rost of Miamisburg, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Evelyn leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene F. Capper and Mabel Capper (Roseknocker); her former husband Ron Lake; her husband Jim Rost; and her grandson Kevin Lake.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Lake (Judy) and Danny Lake; and her grandchildren, Amanda Drummond (Chris), Nick Lake (Lauren) and Tim Lake (Missy). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Centerville SDA Adventist Education Fund.
