He was predeceased by: his father Clemie Lakes; his sisters, Pamela Lakes and Tina Kaesheimer; and his niece Lacy Horn. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ann McKinney (Rhonomus); his children, Ashley Lakes, Ryan Lakes and Brooke Lakes; his grandchildren, Madison Lawson, McKartney Lawson, Scarlett Lakes, Parker Lakes, Sullivan Randal Lakes, Savannah Ward and Axel Olmstead; his siblings, Michael Lakes (Kathy), Tammy Federer (Jeff), Rodney Lakes and Patricia Williams; and the mother of his children Lisa Stamm.
