“I just learned of Patty’s passing today through my most recent copy of The University of Richmond Magazine. While Patty and I were only acquaintances, I want to share that I have very fond memories of Patty from the UR track team and our UR scuba diving class. She was by far the best runner the one year I ran track with her. She was our leader and always supportive no matter what the weather or workout. She had one of the most positive dispositions of us all. She loved life and it showed!”
