He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kathleen Wright (Benjamin), Patricia Hobson (Art) and Paul Jr. (Carol); and his parents, Paul Gareau and Catherine Gareau (Campbell).
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Lauren Masterson (Kevin), Corey (Sasha) and Kevin (Melissa); his grandchildren, Connor, Aiden and Nolan Masterson; his siblings, Donna Gallagher (late Tom), Michael (Gayle), Diane Cammarato, William (late Sherry), Danielle Cifranic (late Lou), Edward (Mary Beth), Tim (Patti), Dennis (Debbie), Jeannine Narowitz (Mick) and Mark (Olwen); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Newman (late Mark) and Thomas Forestek. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Ripepi and Sons Funeral Home (18149 Bagley Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Colette Church (330 W 130th St, Brunswick, OH 44212). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
