He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Malensek and Barbara Malensek (Ferry). He is survived by: his wife Kim; his sons, Doug "DJ" Malensek Jr. and Eric Malensek; and his siblings, Roberta Garling (Mike), Ted (Carol) and Robert Randell (Stacy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
