She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith and Lillie Smith (Nelson); her husband Leslie Whittington; her daughter Sherry Davis; her grandchildren, Jeremy Adkins, Ryan, Brian Whittington and Lisa Klein; and her siblings, Raymond Smith, Bill Smith, Betty Schneeman, Joanne Banks, Ronald Smith, Mona Anderoni, Charles Smith and Wanda Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Loretta Atkins (Teri) and Shauna Doucet (Johnny); her stepchildren, Leroy Whittington, Jeffery Whittington, Teresa Whittington and Lisa Klein; her grandchildren, Kelli McKinney, Misty Mitchell (Dave), Bill Tackett (Carlisa), Emily Smith, Kasey Doucet and Destaney Doucet (Cory); her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthany, Tristin, Shalynn, Hannah, Ashton, Demetrius, Nevaeh, Kera, Ethan, Abigail, Kasen and Emberly; her great great grandchildren, Tye, Zoe, Rivir and London; and her close friend Tina Hammon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
