She was predeceased by : her parents, Harless Blankenship and Karen Blankenship; her brother Richard Blankenship; her daughter Taylor Powell; her aunt Evelyn Harper; and her cousin Charles Parsons.

She is survived by : her husband David Dowler of Middleport Ohio; and her siblings, Larry Blankenship (Lois) of Montgomery, WV, James Blankenship (Barbara) of St, Kathy Lemley of Middleport Ohio and Nancy Holbert (Scott) of Cape Canveral, FL.. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren. 6 Nephew's, 3 niece's and great Nieces.
