He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Smith and Molly Smith (Miller); and his siblings, Luther Smith, Lois Truett, Myrtle Brewer, Christine Williams and Freddy Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Smith (Brewer); his daughters, Elsie Bingham (Bill) of Trenton and Mollie Dodd (Rob) of Middletown; his grandchildren, Dee Waters (Scott Kostelaz), Jennifer Settlemyre (Cory), Jessica Hughes (Tim) and Kelli Bayne (Tray); his great grandchildren, Kyra Waters (Quetin Cooper), Trent Waters, Tegan Bayne and Caulder Bayne; and his siblings, Nellie Roberson and James E. Smith.
