He is survived by: his wife Ann Williams Elam; his children, Todd Elam (Kelley), Mike Elam and Sharon Retherford (Duane); and his grandchildren, Tyler Elam, Jordan Elam, Verity Retherford and Justin Retherford. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
