He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Sophie Bowling; his former wife Mildred F. Livesey Bowling; his wife Edith Bowling; his daughters, Tina Bowling and Connie Patrick; and his grandson Casey Bowling.
He is survived by: his sons, Daryl Bowling (Josie) and Jerry Bowling. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
