He is survived by: his wife Jill McCarthy; his daughter Shirley Gutknecht (Lyle); his grandchild Dean Gutknecht of Trina Gutknecht; his sister Margie Gitzinger (Brenden); his nieces, Gracie Gitzinger and Brittany Moreno (Guy); and his nephew Matthew Olding.
