He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Reid and Mamie Reid (Stewart); his grandson Cory Reid Waits; his sisters, Ann Heflin and Betty Goodpastor; and his sister-in-law Rose Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Louise C. Reid; his daughters, Sharon Waits, Paula Long (David) and Cindy Watson (Tom); his grandchildren, Matthew Waits (Sarah), Christopher Long (Becky), Stewart Watson (Tess) and Hannah Watson; and his brother Nick Reid. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
