He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shotwell and Helen Shotwell (Priest). He is survived by: his wife Joy Shotwell (Wills); his son Chris Shotwell (Misty); his grandchildren, Britney Hembree (Cotey) and Chase Shotwell (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Eva and Gabe Hembree; and his sister Jean Messmore. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
