She was predeceased by: her parents, Amerida Morris and Mary Morris; her former husband Wilson Turner; her husband Roscoe Newkirk; her sisters, Dorothy Morris and Faye Morris; and her stepdaughter Betty Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Chauncey Turner (Billie) and Ron Turner (Mary); her grandchildren, Elisabeth Runnells, Shawn Turner (Holli), Susan Lezotte (Paul), Sheree Henson (Bryce) and Seth Turner; her sister Doris Johnson (Arthur Jr); her stepson Bob Newkirk (Carol); and her stepson-in-law Jim Williams. She is also survived by children and grandchildren; along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
