He was predeceased by: his son Donnie Heatherly; and his siblings, Bonnie Settles (Heatherly), Faye Walden (Heatherly) and Dana Heatherly. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his stepchildren, Billy, Julie Poynter, Tammy, David Woodby and Josh Day; his grandchildren, Olivia Hall, Tyler, Blake Poynter and Joshua Day; and his brother Paul Heatherly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
