He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd McKenzie and Mary McKenzie (Sorrell); his wife Jean McKenzie; and his children, Kathleen Bower, Linda Morrison and Donnie McKenzie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Hollister (Bob) and Mary "Mimi" Bieber (Brian); and his siblings, Jerry McKenzie (Ruth) and Janice McMann (Ron). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
