She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Georgia Ann and Freeman Strickland; her uncles, Willie D. Strickland, Jim Strickland and John B. Strickland; her aunt Onie Mae Porchia; her brother Charles Hughes; her nephew Carl Hughes; and her parents, O. V. Hughes and Eula Mae Strickland.
She is survived by: her aunts, Nadel Turner, Princess Strickland and Lindsay; her sister Maxine Gathwright (California); her son LaMar Hodges; her grandsons, Brendan Hodges (Tima) of Colerain, OH, LaMar Hodges Jr. Middletown, Christian Hodges (Mariah Nicole), Darrell Hunter Jr. Kellie (Arizona), Hunter and Deandrae Dawson of Fairfield, OH; and her friend Extended. She is also survived by Cousins, Nieces, Nephews.
