She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold V. Burt and Jane A. Burt (Norton); her nephew Joe Burt; and her niece Kristie Cox. She is survived by: her siblings, Bob Burt (Val) of Camden, Jim Burt (Jerri) of Trenton, Keith Burt (Willene) of Harrison, Dennis Burt (Bonnie) of Centerville, Kevin Burt (Beverly) of Florence, Kentucky, Kaye Oney of Middletown and Karla Beverly (Don) of Monroe; and her close friend Wilma McGuire. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions in honor of Gari may be made to Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
