He is survived by: his son Gilbert Applegate; his half-brother Jack Lee; his sister Linda Applegate; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Applegate, Ryan Applegate (Sara), Christa Applegate-Hooks (Brian) and Casie Applegate-Lazier. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
