He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev Edwin Henry and Laura Sauer; his former wife Marjorie Francis Minthorn; his children, Martin Sauer (Elena) of Lancaster, PA, Thomas (Kim) of Germantown, TN, Mary Noe (Greg) of Cincinnati and Jean Sauer of Chester Springs, PA.; his grandchildren, Stephanie Sauer of Breckenridge, CO, Jonathan Sauer of Denver, CO, Kate Leach (Andrew) of Panama City, Panama and Scott Sauer (Katie) of Germantown, TN; his great grandchildren, Whit, Quinn, Arden Sauer of Germantown, TN, Emma and Preston Leach of Panama; his wife Ruth Farrar Sauer (Swanson); and his stepchildren, Ken Farrar (Helen) of Buena Vista, VA, Norm Farrar (Denise) of Colorado Springs, CO, Sally Richmon (Steve) of Tucson, AZ and Carol Calhoon (Roger) of Redmon, WA. He was also cherished by five step-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored by donations to Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties (5940 Long Meadow Dr, Franklin, OH 45005).
