It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen G. Jonson (Middletown, Ohio), born in Winchester, Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sempeles and Lillian Sempeles (Schooley) of Geraki, Greece.; her husband George Jonson; and her siblings, Bill, Nick, George Sempeles and Freda Giovanis.
She is survived by: her grandchild YiaYia; her children, John Jonson (Betty), Gregory Jonson (Doreen) and Chrysanne Sherlock (Mike); her grandchildren, Aimee McNeal, Elaina Lackaye (Kevin), Alexa Jonson, Love Jonson, George Sherlock, James Sherlock and Anne Marie Sherlock; her great grandchildren, Chase, Lauren and Cora; her siblings, Cia Gretes and Demo Sempeles (Sophie); and her sister-in-law Jan Jonson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
