He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Brian; his grandson Wyatt Sargero; his parents, Grady and Marie; his siblings, Sadie Snowden (Ernest), Dimple Wallace, Dotson, Bill, Bobby (Diane) and Fred; his wife Carolyn Melton (Honshul); his children, Cheryl Sargero, Dwayne Melton and Johnny McGlosson (Kellie); his grandsons, Ryan Waldner, Nicholas Sargero, Riley McGlosson and Josh Lindon; his brothers, Eddie Melton and Gene Melton (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Benita Melton, Brenda Byrd Melton and Buddy Wallace. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
