With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lafayette Sims (Middletown, Ohio), who passed away on September 10, 2019 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Sims and Grace Sims (Bowman); and his wife Elsie Elam Sims. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Sims (Pam) and Gene Sims (Judy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, 7887 Washington Village Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45459.
